As it is the season of grills and there are enough "leftovers", I say that it is good to combine them with something (a vegetable, a sauce, a greenery ...) and so we save from waste!
A great salad came out, full and very colorful, only good to serve!
- 1 kg. white potatoes for boiling in shell;
- 4 pieces of pork / chicken steak prepared in advance;
- 50 gr. assorted olives;
- 1 red onion;
- 6 large slices of vinegar donuts;
- 1 tablespoon mustard (classic);
- salt and pepper to taste;
- 1 tablespoon olive oil;
- basil leaves for decoration (optional).
Preparation time: less than 60 minutes
RECIPE PREPARATION Potato salad with leftover steak:
For starters, wash the potatoes well and put them to boil (in a large pot with lightly salted water to cover them). When they have boiled enough (they penetrate easily with a fork) we drain them from the water and let them cool.
Meanwhile, we prepare the other ingredients.
Peel the olives, cut the onion, the meat and the potatoes into pieces in one gulp and the donuts into smaller slices.
Stir again and if necessary season with salt and pepper.
Add the oil and mustard and mix again.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
We serve with gusto!

You can opt for a multitude of sauces (mayonnaise, garlic sauce, tomato sauce) or you can complete the salad with all kinds of vegetables (pumpkin, eggplant, kidney beans, beans, etc.) but these are already other recipes!
